Attendee Relationship Management and Attendee Intelligence Concepts Gain Leverage Through the Goldwater Group's Expertise

WASHINGTON -- Event Innovation, a Washington, D.C. based enterprise software company for sports arenas, concerts, and performing arts theaters, announced today a partnership with Bobby Goldwater, well known as an industry leader and consultant in the sports venue management field.

Mr. Goldwater's unparalleled combination of industry experience began at Madison Square Garden in New York where he served 24 years at The World's Most Famous Arena in a number of executive positions. He departed for STAPLES Center in Los Angeles to become Senior Vice President and General Manager as one of the key executives in creating and opening the $400 million, state-of-the-art venue. He later moved to Washington to be the President and Executive Director of the D.C. Sports and Entertainment Commission with the primary responsibility of leading the District of Columbia's efforts to bring Major League Baseball back to the Nation's Capital, a project that was successfully completed with the announcement in September 2004 of the relocation of the Montreal Expos, now the Washington Nationals.

Mr. Goldwater is president of The Goldwater Group LLC, a consulting management company serving the sports and entertainment industry. The Goldwater Group provides services to clients across the United States and internationally which require insightful and diversified expertise in such areas as facility management, business development, event production, sponsorships, marketing and communications.

Mr. Goldwater has been active in professional associations and community service organizations throughout his career. Among his current affiliations is his membership in the International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM). In 2008, he was honored by the Event and Arena Marketing Conference, receiving its prestigious GIGI Award of Excellence and being inducted into the EAMC's Hall of Fame. He is an adjunct professor in Georgetown University's Sports Industry Management master's program, regularly gives speeches and college lectures on the sports and entertainment industry and serves on the board of directors of the Super Leaders youth development and mentoring program in Washington.
