Robert Lane Saget (born May 17, 1956) is an American actor, stand-up comedian, writer, director, producer, and game show host. He is well known for his role as Danny Tanner in the ABC sitcom Full House
 will host the Video Software Dealers Association's (VSDA VSDA Video Software Dealers Association ) 2006 Home Entertainment Awards on Tuesday, July 11, 2006 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States. , Nevada, organizers of the show announced today. The award show will take place during VSDA's Home Entertainment 2006, the 25th annual convention for the home entertainment industry. VSDA's Home Entertainment 2006 is produced by Home Entertainment Events.

Bob Saget has the unique distinction of being the star of two top-ten primetime television series, as patriarch on the family comedy "Full House" and as host of "America's Funniest Home Videos America's Funniest Home Videos (often simply abbreviated to AFV, previously AFHV), is an American reality television program on ABC in which viewers are able to send in humorous homemade videotapes. ." Saget has stretched the boundaries of how he is perceived by returning to his stand up comedy roots and delivering the most memorable performance of the ThinkFilm feature "The Aristocrats." In addition to receiving laughs from the big screen, he has delivered unforgettable performances recently as a guest star on cable television hits "Entourage" and "Huff." Saget has most recently taken his stand up act on tour to colleges and clubs across the nation. His next project, ThinkFilm's "The Farce Of The Penguins," is a spoof of the wildly successful Academy Award-winning documentary, "March Of The Penguins." "The Farce Of The Penguins" will be in theaters this summer.
