Bob Rogers will receive this year's Thea Lifetime Achievement Award, which is given to a distinguished individual in the themed entertainment and experience design industry. The award is given by TEA, a non-profit organization composed of people and businesses in the industry. Rogers is chief executive of BRC Imagination Arts, a Burbank-based company that designs and creates experience-based attractions for museums, experiential marketing, theme parks, and cultural heritage sites worldwide. With nearly 40 years in the industry, Rogers's work has included projects for the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, Walt Disney Co., General Motors, NASA, the Texas State History Museum, and the U.S. Pavilion at the 2005 World's Fair in Japan.
