An angry Bob Morton Bob Morton is also the name of a character in Robocop.

Bob Morton is an electrical engineer and Chairman/Executive Director of the Naturist Action Committee, an organization dedicated to defending the rights of naturists everywhere.
 has denied claims Newcastle Blue Star are considering withdrawing their application to the UniBond League, (writes Malcolm Pratt).

The club's director of football said: "I do not know where these rumours emanate from but they are totally untrue.

"Provided the UBL go ahead with a North Division next season, we will be in it.

"We have had the Falcons' ground inspected and there are no problems, so the only thing which will stop us is if the UBL cannot find sufficient teams to extend the competition."

It is understood the FA will inform clubs on April 3 whether the restructuring will take place.

Blue Star, meanwhile, have experienced losing three games on the bounce for the first time in several seasons.

Morton, however, points out they have all been by the odd goal and insists there is no lack of confidence at the Wheatsheaf Ground.

He added: "Before this blip, Andy Gowens had guided us to seven wins and three draws.
