Prior to that time, Kirk held the position of vice president of Marketing with BancTec Systems, Inc., working in their world headquarters in Dallas. He joined BancTec in 1989 as director of Product Marketing for their Retail and Wholesale Remittance Money sent from one individual to another in the form of cash, check, or some other manner.
