Bob Crowley (born in Cork, Ireland) is a theatre director, scenic and costume designer. He is the brother of director John Crowley.
 as Managing Director of its software operations.

Crowley brings over 20 years of demonstrated leadership and operational excellence having served in senior management positions with several outstanding technology companies.

As a member of Safeguard's executive team, Crowley will be charged with identifying and acquiring companies in the software sector and creating long-term value by providing operating leadership and post-acquisition involvement to accelerate their success. In addition, he will be responsible for developing Safeguard's existing software companies.

Crowley will be based in an office that will be opened in the Boston region to increase Safeguard's presence in the technology sector and broaden its geographic reach.

Crowley most recently was chief executive officer of Bowstreet, Inc., a privately-held software automation platform which is regarded as the pioneer of web services.
