Boatright-Kilgore. (2003 Wedding Register).


Beverly Beth Boatright and Donald Joseph Kilgore were married on June 30, 2001, in a seven o'clock service at North Oxford Baptist Church in Oxford with the Reverends John H. Flynt and Mark Williams officiating at the double-ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Fleming Boatright of Oxford and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Leland Kilgore of Philadelphia. The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Lee Jones, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Boatright of Oxford. The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Simeon Ambrose of Memphis, Tennessee, and Mrs. Mary Evelyn Kilgore and Mr. Leland Kilgore of Philadelphia.

Nuptial music was provided by Mrs. Peggy Sneed, pianist; Mr. Jeff Clearman, organist; and Mrs. Angie Wells and Miss Kathy King, flutists. Vocalists included Mr. Alan Harris as soloist and Mr. Clay Harris and Mr. Chad Harris completing the trio.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of white bridal satin. The sleeveless gown featured an off-the-shoulder portrait neckline and a chapel-length sweep train. Pearled pearled

Groomsmen were Benjamin Thomas Boatright, brother of the bride; Robert Brian Hardy; John Taylor Jabour; Jeffrey Leland Kilgore, brother of the groom; Steven Simeon Kilgore, brother of the groom; Christopher Ryan Nance; David Clifton Ruff, Jr.; Serafim Eugene Thomas; Michael David Watson, Jr.; and Raun Joseph Wetzel of Biloxi. Head ushers were Justin Lee Jones and Dennis Stone Tosh III.

The bride's parents hosted a reception following the ceremony at Cedar Oaks Heritage House in Oxford with music by the Sarah Isom Trio. Reception coordinators were Mrs. Sondra Davis and Miss Patricia Huggins of Oxford.

The bride and groom were honored on the eve On the Eve (Накануне in Russian) is the third novel by famous Russian writer Ivan Turgenev, best known for his short stories and the novel Fathers and Sons.  of the wedding with a rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom's parents at the Downtown Grill in Oxford. An after-glow dance followed the rehearsal dinner and was hosted by friends of the groom. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Howorth of Oxford and Mrs. Frances Molpus of Philadelphia hosted a buffet luncheon for out-of-town guests on the day of the wedding. The bride, bridesmaids, mothers, and grandmothers were honored with a luncheon on the day before the wedding, hosted by friends of the bride.

Following a honeymoon trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple is at home in Oxford, where Beth is employed as an elementary teacher by the Lafayette School District and Joseph is a law student at the University of Mississippi The University of Mississippi, also known as Ole Miss, is a public, coeducational research university located in Oxford, Mississippi. Founded in 1848, the school is composed of the main campus in Oxford and three branch campuses located in Booneville, Tupelo, and Southaven. .
