Boardwalk paths flown into Berwyns; Farm & Country.


HIGH above the Berwyn National Nature Reserve, near Bala, a helicopter carries old railway sleepers to the top of 830m Cadair Berwyn. Staff from the Countryside Council for Wales The Countryside Council for Wales (CCW; Welsh: Cyngor Cefn Gwlad Cymru (CCGC)) is an Assembly Sponsored Public Body. It is the Welsh Assembly Government's wildlife conservation authority for Wales.  are using them to create new boardwalks for visitors and help prevent the erosion of footpaths.
