David Heiman, board president of the Silicon Valley Charitable Ball (SVCB SVCB Spring Valley Concert Band (Schaumburg, IL) ) Foundation, will appear on NBC 11 TV's Bay Area Vista, hosted by Janice Edwardson, on Sunday March 20 at 4:00PM to discuss Silicon Valley's new charitable funding realities and to reveal highlights of next month's Annual Silicon Valley Charity Ball -- Viva El Corazon! He will be joined by representatives of RotaCare(R) Bay Area, Inc., one of four non-profit agencies selected to receive funds raised by the 2005 Annual Charity Ball.

Along with showing video highlights from last year's ball, Mr. Heiman will discuss the evolving role of the SVCB Foundation, the process that the Foundation uses to evaluate funding applications, and how the Annual Ball now funds core functions and not just special projects for today's increasingly cash-pressed charitable organizations This article is about charitable organizations.
