STURBRIDGE - The Board of Selectmen SELECTMEN. In a unanimous vote, selectmen accepted the $19,913,000 loan commitment, at an interest rate of 2 percent, for the wastewater treatment plant upgrade from 750,000 gallons per day to 1.3 million gallons per day

Selectmen approved the injury-on-duty claim of Firefighter Thomas Edwards Thomas Edwards may refer to:

 Jr., who hurt his back lifting a patient off the floor during an Oct. 20 incident.

The plumbing inspector will now report through the building inspector's office, rather than the Board of Health. This will be a six-month trial and, upon a positive review, the change will be permanent.

Waterline Industries Corp. in Seabrook, N.H., was awarded the contract for "New Water Supply Source - Well #4" for a base bid of $3,287,287.
