Wild boar have in recent years returned to happy rural lives in Kent, Devon, Dorset and Herefordshire - as well as Gloucestershire - since they became extinct in the 17th century. Which is nice. It made me recall that a few years ago we had a problem in our local pub with a wild boar. As he burst in, everybody would form a defensive circle to keep him at bay out but boars are insensitive in·sen·si·tive adj. 1. Not physically sensitive; numb. 2. a. Lacking in sensitivity to the feelings or circumstances of others; unfeeling. b. souls and he would barge right into the middle and bore us all stiff. One of our number nicknamed him Exocet.
