Blytheco Inc. (www.blytheco.com), the largest full-service accounting-systems integrator in Southern California, today said it set all-time sales and performance records last year, and announced plans to expand operations.

Blytheco ended 1999 with revenues of just over $6 million, a 20 percent increase over the previous year and the highest in the company's history, said Stephen Blythe, CPA, founder and president. Revenue gains came from increased demand for accounting-system implementation, training, custom development and consulting.

In early January, the company was honored by Irvine-based Sage Software Inc. for being the leading performer among Sage's national lineup of resellers, and received the Business Partner of the Year Award. Blytheco will be saluted at Sage's Circle of Excellence awards banquet, to be held in Hawaii in February.

Company Will Expand Los Angeles, Orange County Operations

Looking ahead to 2000, Blythe said the company will expand operations at its Los Angeles Sage-authorized training facility to include consulting and software development services, and will seek to merge with or acquire other Sage resellers, especially in Los Angeles and Orange counties.

Blytheco also will expand its product offerings to aggressively market and support the Acuity Financials accounting software and the Best Software Product lines recently acquired by Sage.

&uot;We plan to increase our staff at our facility located near Los Angeles International Airport, which will allow us to serve the Westside,&uot; Blythe said. &uot;At the same time, we look to expand in Orange County by adding staff in our support and programming departments, and by bringing a few select Sage resellers into our organization.
