Bluetooth hits the road.


Several states across the U.S. have enacted bans on using cell phones while driving. If you've ever experienced a near-miss with a distracted dis·tract·ed

 cell-phone-using driver, you probably think there's some sense to the bans. However, it would be nice to find some safe way of using a cell phone when on the road. The Acura TL The Acura TL is a mid-size luxury car from Honda's Acura brand.  the car to recognize, and automatically establishes a link. When the system detects an incoming call, it automatically mutes the car's audio system. There's also a handy feature that lets you transfer on and off the car's system without interrupting your call in the process. Whether this makes for safer driving is unclear. Some research indicates phone-using drivers are distracted by the discussion as much as the manual process of making the call.

The Acura TL also comes with several other high-tech features, such as a state-of-the art sound system, GPS, Satellite Radio, and Maintenance Minder system that monitors the vehicle for mechanical problems.
