Bluestreak Network Secures $6 Million Second Round Venture Financing from First Capital Group, Solidarity Fund QFL, and BDC Venture Capital.

DALLAS -- Bluestreak Network, Inc., a leading developer of presentation software for digital TV and wireless personal media devices, today announced the completion of its $6 million second round of venture financing. This most recent round puts Bluestreak's total funding to date at over $10 million. Bluestreak will use the funds to expand sales, marketing, and product development activities. Solidarity Fund QFL and BDC Venture Capital entered the round as new investors, and were joined by First Capital Group, Bluestreak's original venture partner.

Bluestreak, with offices in Dallas and Montreal, has previously announced licensing agreements for its Digital Entertainment Middleware (DEM) with Videotron in Quebec and Time Warner Cable in the United States. The DEM platform enables a new generation of User Interface, Navigation, and Application design by allowing content creators to use standard authoring tools, supplemented with Bluestreak's BDK toolkit, for video-centric embedded devices like digital cable set-tops and advanced cell phones. As a result, new iTV and cell phone applications can be created faster by leveraging Flash(R) tools; display superior navigation, graphics and animation; and be managed more flexibly and economically.
