Bluestone Software Provides E-business Solution for Mviva WAP Portal.

Bluestone(R) Software Inc., (NASDAQ:BLSW) a leader in business-to-Web and wireless technologies, has been selected by Mviva to provide its Total-e-Server(TM) as the e-business platform for a new online portal targeting users of WAP phones. The Mviva portal, a joint venture by AOL and Carphone Warehouse, is intended to provide a full range of information services for all Carphone Warehouse customers and mobile phone users in general. The contract means that Bluestone will provide Mviva with a fully integrated, scaleable, fault tolerant e-business solution, capable of providing a personal service to Mviva customers.

The Mviva portal, powered by Bluestone's Total-e-Server, provides WAP phone users with one central point from which to source information relevant to their needs. Through a network of content partners Mviva will provide a personalized service, relaying news, sports, travel, weather, online retail, stock trading, banking and unified messaging information, direct to the customer's mobile. As a part owned subsidiary of the Carphone Warehouse, the portal places great emphasis on customer care and service personalization. Customers purchasing a phone via any Carphone Warehouse store will automatically be able to select from the variety of options offered by Mviva, providing a tailor-made service to suit their individual needs. The service will also be available to phone users who have not purchased their service via the Carphone Warehouse.
