Bluestone(R) Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: BLSW), a leader in business-to-Web and wireless technologies, today announced the Bluestone Academy, an intensive, 12-week training program that brings skilled software developers to Bluestone's Solutions Delivery Group and elevates the knowledge and readiness of Bluestone's technology partners.

The first Bluestone Academy session will wrap up December 21st, with 22 graduates trained extensively in HTML, JavaScript, SQL, RDMS, XML, Java, Advanced Java, Java Server Pages, Enterprise Java Beans, and the entire Bluestone Total-e-Business(TM) platform. Participants also received instruction in PricewaterhouseCoopers' powerful systems delivery methodology, SUMMIT Ascendant. Moving forward, Bluestone will host the Bluestone Academy several times each year. The next session, which will include 24 participants, is scheduled for mid-March 2001.
