Bluestone Software Expands Into Nordic Region.

Bluestone(R) Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: BLSW), a leader in business-to-Web and wireless technologies, has appointed Jan Bergstrom as managing director for the Nordic Region. This announcement coincides with the opening of Bluestone's first office in Scandinavia, based in Uppsala, Sweden.

Jan joins Bluestone from BEA Systems AB, where as managing director he was responsible for strengthening the Swedish operation and creating a 300% growth rate. Jan has over twenty years experience in senior management positions, having worked in both sales and marketing roles within the hi-tech and pharmaceutical industries. In his new role, Jan is responsible for growing the Bluestone team within the Nordic countries, by driving the new business process across the region.
