The Bluesocket Wireless Gateway was selected as the "Best Wireless Product" by 31.5 percent of voter responses. The next runner-up vendor earned 20.8 percent of the vote.

In existence for 17 years, the 2003 InfoWorld Readers' Choice program received more than 1,000 ballots from InfoWorld readers.

This news follows an announcement made by Bluesocket in June that it was selected for an "Editors' Choice Award" from Communications News magazine as well as winning the "Best Indoor/Campus Wireless" award at TiECon 2003, the world's largest entrepreneurial conference in Santa Clara, CA.
