of its record sales growth, Bluesocket also successfully launched new products as part of the company's strategy to bring trust and simplicity to increasingly complex wireless networks. The company announced BlueSecure access points that require zero-configuration, and the industry's first centralized RF sensor at Interop in May. With these new products, Bluesocket is expanding its reach by offering a complete wireless local area network (WLAN) solution to enterprises.

The new BlueSecure Access Points and BlueSecure Controller version 5.0 were launched into beta in the quarter and will be available for deployment later this month.

Product growth was seen in all units from the branch office to large enterprise organizations. New customer growth was highest in the education market segment, followed very closely by the enterprise segment.

"We are delivering on our promise to bring maximum choice to our customers," Calistri continued. "Our great quarterly results were based upon the previous generation of our solution set. Our new products and expanded strategy allows Bluesocket to build on this growth and remain committed to delivering our industry-leading WLAN solutions based on open-standards, trust and simplicity."

After crossing the 1,000 customer milestone in Q1 2005, Bluesocket continued to add to this total during Q2 2005 with approximately 150 new customers signed including:
