YOU have to thank David Sullivan and the current board for saving Blues when they were in a state of crisis and for stopping them going bankrupt.

You also have to thank Sullivan for all the great laughs he has given us with all the lame excuses as to why he couldn't invest in the team.

Despite the Blues board having a combined personal fortune of more than Randy Lerner, they still insisted the couldn't afford to invest.

The truth is they are just too tight to get their wallets out.

Blues was just another business to them and that is why you are not getting full houses down St Andrew's these days because the fans are just fed up with being ripped off and lied to.

N WALKER, Solihull TOMORROW'S game will be the test of whether this Blues team are going to hold there own in the league or just struggle.

We have not made a bad start and with last week's win we do look like we could be heading for mid-table.

But tomorrow's game will be the real sign of how much progress we have made towards being consistent.

Bolton had a very good win over West Ham in the week and have started to improve.
