Bluebirds quartet draw the crowds.


ALMOST 1,000 fans turned out to meet four Bluebirds players in the official club shop at Cardiff City Stadium this week.

Michael Chopra Michael Chopra (born 23 December 1983 in Newcastle upon Tyne) is an English footballer playing professionally for the Premier League side Sunderland.

A striker, he has previously played for Newcastle United and Cardiff City and has spent loan spells at Watford, Nottingham
, Joe Ledley, David Marshall and Peter Enckelman all broke into their day off to meet fans - and spent two hours signing autographs and posing for photographs.

The turn-out from fans far exceeded expectation and staff worked to keep the queues moving.

The four then went to the Ninian Park railway station Ninian Park railway station serves the Ninian Park area of Cardiff, which lies just outside the central area of the city.

The station, which is situated 1.6 km (1 mile) west of Cardiff Central, was opened when the City Line reopened to passenger services in 1987, using
 nearby to official unveil murals aimed at discouraging bad behaviour among football fans.
