BlueKite.com Expands Operations in Europe; Top Executive From Kenan Systems Joins Leading Wireless Internet Software Provider.

BlueKite.com, a company dedicated to making the Wireless Web a reality, announced the addition of senior Kenan executive Jan Wiejak to its European team. Mr. Wiejak will lead BlueKite's growing European team as its managing director. The announcement coincides with the recent closing of US$36M in BlueKite's Series C financing and the opening of two new offices in London and Paris.

Jan Wiejak joins the company from Lucent subsidiary Kenan Systems, where he was head of the Global Mobile business unit and VP of Sales for Europe. Mr. Wiejak will be based in BlueKite's newest office in London's Marble Arch Marble Arch is a white Carrara marble monument near Speakers' Corner in Hyde Park, at the western end of Oxford Street in London, England, near the tube station of the same name. , and he will build and manage BlueKite's sales, marketing, and customer support teams throughout Europe. In addition to London and Paris, BlueKite maintains offices in Copenhagen and Amsterdam.
