BlueKite's optimization platform will enable Asian mobile operators to deploy 3G-type services on today's 2G and 2.5G networks by significantly improving mobile Internet performance speeds. With a large mobile Internet install-base already in place, Asian operators will be able to more effectively differentiate service offerings and roll out rich content services and applications by employing BlueKite technology.

"With the widespread use of 2.5G networks throughout Asia combined with BlueKite's optimization platform, end users will realize there's no reason to wait for 3G," said Eric Colard, BlueKite's vice president of business development. "By using BlueKite technology, mobile operators are able to offer additional value-added data services, while reducing overall costs."

By working with 2M Services, BlueKite will be able to provide local sales and technical support to customers and partners. 2M Services has offices in China, Hong Kong Hong Kong (hŏng kŏng), Mandarin Xianggang, special administrative region of China, formerly a British crown colony (2005 est. pop. 6,899,000), land area 422 sq mi (1,092 sq km), adjacent to Guangdong prov. , Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan. To further strengthen its operations, BlueKite has opened a demonstration center in Hong Kong, accessible from anywhere in Asia, for companies to evaluate its wireless optimization technology.

. Korean-based Cyberbank Corp. is currently testing BlueKite's v4.0 software to integrate with its new PC-EPhone -- a next-generation Pocket PC and mobile phone hybrid device.
