BlueFire Research, an SEC registered investment adviser affiliated with BlueFire Partners, today initiates coverage of Datakey (Nasdaq:DKEY) with an Outperform rating and a 12-month target price of $10 per share, based on a multiple of 5.3 times estimated revenue for the calendar year ended December 31, 2001. Datakey provides smart card solutions for the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) A framework for creating a secure method for exchanging information based on public key cryptography.
