BlueFire Partners, Inc., a Minneapolis-based boutique capital markets firm, announced today that Karen J. Snedeker has been named the firm's president and chief executive officer. Snedeker replaces William Bartkowski, who remains chairman of BlueFire's board of directors and will become the firm's managing director of all client service and sales activities.

Snedeker has been with BlueFire since 1996, serving as a managing director and a member of the firm's board of directors since that time. Prior to joining BlueFire, Snedeker was director of investor and public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment.
