Blue Titan Attains ''Powered by SAP NetWeaver(R)'' Certification; Blue Titan Network Director(TM) is One of the First SOA Infrastructure Software Solutions to Achieve this Certification.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Blue Titan Software(R): The Services Networking Company(TM), today announced it has attained "Powered by SAP NetWeaver(R)" certification for its Blue Titan Network Director(TM) 3.5 product. Network Director support for the SAP NetWeaver Application Server (SAP NetWeaver AS) Release 6.40 and SAP NetWeaver Portal components are enabled with the certification. Network Director and SAP NetWeaver enable organizations to accelerate their adoption of SAP's Enterprise Services Architecture (ESA) by providing complementary functionality in the form of intelligent routing of XML/SOAP messages and mitigation of incompatibilities within and across service-oriented architectures (SOA). Companies can now more easily mediate, virtualize, and enforce policy in their SAP NetWeaver-based SOAs in an environment that encourages service sharing by being tolerant of change and embracing diversity.

Service sharing, enabled through loose coupling, is the foundation for SOA-related benefits -- operational agility, lower IT costs, and reduced time-to-market for new applications. Creation and use of a network of services effectively moves application functionality onto the services network and facilitates widespread service sharing. This makes it possible to align IT according to changing business needs.

Blue Titan Network Director is infrastructure software that enables the construction of services networks. A services network is a loosely coupled network of service providers, service consumers, and Network Director Control Points -- Blue Titan's implementation of network intermediaries. Network Director Control Points intelligently route XML/SOAP traffic, enforce policy, and mediate run-time concerns across heterogeneous environments.
