The discovery of gold at Sutter's Mill (see Sutter, John Augustus) along the river in 1848 led to the California gold rush of musical group consisting of guitarist and flutist Aaron Aaron (âr`ən), in the Bible, the brother of Moses and his spokesman in Egypt, and the first high priest of the Hebrews. He is presented as the instrument of God in performing many signs, such as the turning of his rod into a serpent and White, guitarist/bassist Gary Rasmussen, and drummer Ed Michaels Edward J. Michaels (born Mikolajewski) (June 11, 1914 - January 1976) was an American football guard in the National Football League for the Chicago Bears, the Washington Redskins, and the Philadelphia Eagles. who combine their talent to create a blues-tinged, rockoriented sound reflecting contemporary Native American life in America. Their music in this superbly crafted recording is enhanced with the inclusion on one track (Heart Beat) by the poetry and voice of John Densmore (the drummer and founding member of the Doors).
