Blue Security and Firetrust Join Forces to Fight Spam; Firetrust's MailWasher anti-spam program integrates with Blue Security's Blue Frog software, enabling users to automatically and seamlessly report spam.

MENLO PARK, Calif. -- Blue Security, Inc., developers of the Do Not Intrude Registry solution to eliminate unsolicited e-mail spam, and Firetrust, an anti-spam and e-mail security provider, have joined forces to protect users from unsolicited bulk e-mail. Firetrust's MailWasher(R) 5.2 anti-spam program integrates with Blue Security's Blue Frog software, enabling users to automatically and seamlessly report their spam to Blue Security. Blue Security's service is provided free of charge to all Firetrust's users.

Firetrust offers easy-to-use e-mail security and anti-spam solutions for businesses and consumers. MailWasher, Firetrust's highly acclaimed anti-spam tool, allows users to preview and delete unsolicited bulk e-mail before it gets to their computer. MailWasher adapts to the user's personal preferences by identifying the type of e-mail they wish to receive.

MailWasher 5.2 allows users to safely and automatically report messages identified as spam directly to Blue Security. Blue Security's experienced analysts then study all spam messages received and identify the Web sites advertised in those messages. The Blue Frog software posts 'opt-out' requests on the merchants' sites, asking spammers and direct marketers to remove registered addresses from their mailing lists.
