Blue Ridge Networks Expands Management Team to Bolster Federal Support; Lori Lane Added as Vice President of Federal Sales to Support Agencies Secure Wireless Initiatives.


CHANTILLY, Va. -- Blue Ridge Networks(TM), the premier provider of secure communications products and managed VPN services today announced the addition of Ms. Lori Lane to its management team as Vice President of Federal Sales. The move reinforces the company's commitment to securing communications within the Federal Government and enabling agencies to respond to increasingly mobile work forces.

Ms. Lane has considerable experience in helping Department of Defense and Civilian Agencies solve complex secure communications issues by deploying technologies appropriate to their missions.

She was Vice President of Federal Sales at Senforce Technologies and manager of Federal sales at Pointsec Mobile Technologies. Lane also held management and executive positions in sales and business development with OmniSky Corporation and Oracle Corporation. Her accomplishments include one of the first enterprise security site licenses covering 37 agencies and 120,000 users at the Department of Justice.
