Those results include an average grade of 3.4 grammes per tonne gold over 4 metres, 1 metre with 160 grammes per tonne, and a grab sample Noun 1. grab sample - a single sample or measurement taken at a specific time or over as short a period as feasible sample - a small part of something intended as representative of the whole with 57 grammes per tonne gold. The target zone is a swarm of quartz veins that exploit a northwest- trending fault zone within the Paramaka Formation. Prior soil sampling suggests that gold mineralization occurs along this fault for a distance of approximately 1,500 metres. The present drilling program will test this mineralization to depths up to 20 metres. Grid-based soil sampling is also proceeding on the Company's 9,600 hectare Toeboeka concession located 15 km north of Dijon. The Company now has surface access to the property directly from the existing road system, thus eliminating the need to fly to the property ~portion of the concession, which was previously unexplored. The Company previously collected more than 1,200 samples form the central part of the concession, generating soil samples with up to 10.3 grammes per tonne gold. The Company is presently evaluating the results of this past program and anticipates trenching several of the gold anomalies in the near future. Toeboeka lies adjacent to Golden Star Resources' Saramacca concession where they report encouraging results at their Pampokampoe prospect. Lastly, the Company is initiating a reconnaissance program at its 18,200 hectare Oelemari concession, located in southeastern Suriname. The Company recently acquired this property under terms that include annual payments of US$10,000 that escalate to $35,000 on the 5th anniversary date. The Company can earn an 80 percent interest in the concession after incurring exploration costs of $1.0M. After the Company earns its 80 percent interest the property owner has the option of participating as a 20 percent partner in further development or be diluted.
