Blue Pumpkin Software, Inc., a leading provider of workforce management solutions, announced today that Nilesh Shah has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Blue Pumpkin, Shah was a partner at KPMG, one of the largest professional services firms in the world, where he held increasingly responsible positions over his 17-year career.

As a senior member of KPMG's management team, Shah provided financial and strategic planning and tax advice to dozens of high tech clients. He possesses extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and business alliances. He was also responsible for leading the firm's knowledge management group, which developed applications impacting more than 5,000 professionals. He holds an MBA and a BS from St. John University, New York and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.
