Blue Lance Inc., the leading provider of real-time network monitoring, auditing and security technology for Novell and Windows networks, announced today the release of Service Pack 3 (SP3) for LT Auditor+ Version 8.0(TM).

Among its many new features, SP3 automatically archives native Windows Event Logs, preventing the loss of audit data, thereby enhancing the ability to investigate computer crime. Also included is a rollup status monitoring utility that provides greater reliability of reviewed data. This allows users to validate whether audit data was collected from all machines across the enterprise.

This upgrade provides an Event Export Interface for third party applications to extract Novell NetWare and eDirectory audit data from an LT Auditor+ database. This provides the capability for additional processing such as data correlation, customized data visualization and forensic analysis that complements processing performed by LT Auditor+.
