Blue Lance, the leader in development of real-time monitoring, auditing and computer forensics technology for Novell networks, has announced official certification for LT Auditor+ Version 8.0 by Novell under its rigorous YES, TESTED AND APPROVED program.

As with previous LT Auditor+ versions, Blue Lance will be able to use the internationally recognized trademark for the program on all of its marketing, Web presence and packaging materials. The certification assures customers and prospects that Blue Lance's products have been thoroughly examined and proven compatible with Novell's product line. In addition, the trademark tells prospects that Blue Lance staff has real-world experience with a wide range of Novell products when it comes to installing and supporting Blue Lance software on Novell's directory-powered platforms.

LT Auditor+ Version 8.0, which was recently released, delivers enhanced performance over older versions of LT Auditor+ through the addition of several new features, including support for consolidating audit trail data into high-end relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server. This enables security administrators to store larger amounts of data for long-term forensic and trend analysis while also dramatically improving report generation speed. The new version also gives administrators the ability to have scheduled reports directly e-mailed to security personnel or executives, eliminating the chance for report tampering.
