Blue Desert Mining - Golden Sage Project - Humboldt County, Nevada.VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 3, 1996-- BLUE DESERT MINING INC inc - /ink/ increment, i.e. increase by one. Especially used by assembly programmers, as many assembly languages have an "inc" mnemonic. Antonym: dec. (Alberta Stock Exchange Alberta Stock Exchange See Canadian Venture Exchange (CDNX). :BDE See Borland Database Engine. ) Nine wide-spaced, step-out drill holes have been completed on the Golden Sage Project where previous drilling outlined a 500,000 ounce geologic resource deposited in an epithermal or hot springs environment. Seven holes have highly anomalous amounts of gold over their entire lengths, indicating that the area has been permeated throughout with gold-bearing mineralizing solutions. These holes are 1,000 to 2,500 feet northeast of previous known gold in the Main Zone. Hole 79, drilled 1,000 feet north of the Main Zone, is considered to have intersected the Main Zone in the interval between 345-405 feet (60 feet averaging 0.023 oz/ton) and potentially increases the geological resource by 50 percent. Hole 80, drilled 1,000 feet northeast of the Main Zone, intersected a new gold zone designated "NE-A", grading up to 0.024 oz/ton between 25-140 feet deep. Further drilling will be conducted to delineate the shallow mineralization Mineralization The process by which the body uses minerals to build bone structure. Temperatures in five measured drill holes are unusually high, up to 70 degrees C and increasing at a rate of over 400 degrees C per kilometre of depth. The apparent association between a present day thermal system and gold mineralization is common to other major gold districts such as the Carlin car·line or car·lin n. Results to date indicate that the overall gold system at Golden Sage is very large and underexplored. Gold grades reported from Golden Sage drilling are comparable to other large open-pit mining operations in Nevada. Drilling will continue at both the NE-A zone and west of the Main Zone where the Company believes there is potential to discover a multimillion ounce deposit in the source area of the mineralizing fluids. -0- NOTE: The Alberta Stock Exchange has neither approved nor disapproved the information contained herein.
