The Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) is a American federation of 39 independent, community-based and locally operated Blue Cross and Blue Shield healthcare
 has selected Docent as its national partner for learning management and learning content management software solutions. Under terms of the agreement, the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association will deploy Docent Enterprise(TM) internally to manage, deliver and track training and certifications for its employees. In addition, Docent will work with BCBSA BCBSA Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association  to jointly promote the learning software solution to the Association's 41 member companies. The national agreement with Docent allows all members of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association to benefit from the extensive work conducted by the Association and project team in the areas of vendor evaluation and implementation best practices. Association members also enjoy expedited procurement cycles due to pre-negotiated pricing, terms, and conditions.
