The seven-member Blue Angels team will take practice runs on Thursday, Oct. 7 and Friday, Oct. 8 during daytime Daytime may refer to:

 hours. The Fleet Week program, including the parade of ships and the air show, is scheduled on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 10 from 12 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.

The Federal Aviation Administration Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), component of the U.S. Department of Transportation that sets standards for the air-worthiness of all civilian aircraft, inspects and licenses them, and regulates civilian and military air traffic through its air traffic control  (FAA) and Navy developed the procedures for flight departures and arrivals to maximize safety of flight operations; to minimize impact on other flight operations; and to minimize noise impact on residents living near Oakland International Airport.

All jet operations are scheduled during daytime hours with departure and arrival paths over San Francisco Bay San Francisco Bay, 50 mi (80 km) long and from 3 to 13 mi (4.8–21 km) wide, W Calif.; entered through the Golden Gate, a strait between two peninsulas. , to minimize the noise impact. There is no public access to the military or civilian aircraft participating in the Fleet Week festivities while based at Oakland International Airport.
