Blount Appointed to Board of Technology Association.

Geisel Software Ltd. today announced that its director of marketing--K. Mark Blount--has been appointed to the board of The Technology Marketing Association (TMA), one of four societies comprising the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG).

In this role, Blount and the other board members will develop educational and support programs to assist the burgeoning technology marketplace in Georgia, especially in the Atlanta area. With assistance through TMA, members gain first-hand exposure to the tools, programs, and human capital that drive the new economy in Georgia, as well as exposure to additional networking and technology learning opportunities.

The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) is an umbrella membership organization that currently serves more than 2,000 members of the Georgia technology community. Currently, four main societies and 10 Special Interest Groups (SIGs) encompass TAG. In addition to these groups, TAG hosts the Georgia Technology Forum, a premier annual technology conference each fall.
