Bloomingdale's to Open First Store in Phoenix.


CINCINNATI -- Macy's, Inc. (NYSE NYSE

:M) today announced plans to open a Bloomingdale's in the new CityNorth development in the Northeast Valley area of Phoenix in fall 2009.

This will be Bloomingdale's first store in Arizona and its 10th store in the western United States Noun 1. western United States - the region of the United States lying to the west of the Mississippi River
