 Mayor Michael Bloomberg Michael Rubens Bloomberg (born 14 February 1942) is an American businessman, and the founder of Bloomberg L.P., currently serving as the Mayor of New York City. He was a general partner at Salomon Brothers before founding the financial software service company in 1981.  will put the biggest test of his administration into the hands of Joel Klein Joel I. Klein is Chancellor of the New York City Department of Education, the largest public school system in the United States with over 1.1 million students in over 1,420 schools. , 55, a publishing executive and lawyer. Klein will be chancellor of New York City Public Schools. Bloomberg recently gained control of the nation's largest school system, and has stated that his administration should be judged on his efforts at improving K-12 schools citywide. Although he briefly taught sixth grade math in Long Island City, Klein has little background in education. He needed a waiver from the state education commissioner, Richard Mills Dr Richard Mills AM (born 14 November 1949) is an Australian conductor and composer.

He currently works as Artistic Director of the West Australian Opera and Artistic Consultant with Orchestra Victoria.
