The Weather Channel will air The Bloomberg Money Barometer. This one-minute segment will examine the impact of weather on business and markets - from the weather in Brazil affecting the price of your morning coffee, to the huge costs involved in cleaning up a monster storm such as Hurricane Floyd. This segment will air weekdays on The Weather Channel at 5:30 am and again at 6:00 am. The Weather Channel will produce the Business Travelers' Forecast, a one-minute segment providing Bloomberg Television viewers with up-to-the-minute weather and travel conditions in major travel hubs. This will air on Bloomberg Television Monday through Friday at 5:55 am and again at 6:55 am. Both programs began airing on September 27, 1999.
