Bloodstock: Irish National Stud honours student with Durkan award.

"The John Durkan Award offers another facet to our stud management course, and, of course, it is wonderful to be able to commemorate John in this way," said Clarke. "John was immensely popular with his fellow students and so it is fitting that this award has been organised and funded entirely by them.

"Conor is a worthy first winner and we hope that he uses this opportunity to pursue a training career

with the same passion as John."
