Blood Shortage in Valley -- Chosa's Harley-Davidson & United Blood Services Plead to Local Businesses to Donate Blood.

 Harley-Davidson dealer, is challenging local businesses to assist United Blood Services in building up the Valley's blood supply.

Chosa's is asking Valley businesses to participate in this life-saving community contest by having businesses encourage their employees to give blood. The company whose employees donate the most pints of blood will earn lunch certificates from Macayo's

The blood drive challenge will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2001. United Blood Services will be drawing blood from their bloodmobile blood·mo·bile

A motor vehicle equipped for collecting blood from donors.
 at Chosa's Harley-Davidson (922 S. Country Club Drive, Mesa) between the hours of 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

Blood donors will receive complementary orange juice from Fry's, bite size brownies from Fairytale Brownies, and a coupon for a free cheese crisp from Macayo's. Safeway is also participating by donating cups, napkins, and ice for the orange juice.

Businesses or offices that would like to participate should contact Sherri at Umbrella Marketing at 480/917-7616 to register.
