), introduces new high performance Fiber Optic products to enhance its existing fiber offerings.

The product line additions include the 'TWIN STAR' L-band Fiber group and the FOMC See Federal Open Market Committee.

 Fiber Optic Management Hardware series. Blonder Tongue has also enhanced its existing 'TRAILBLAZER' and 'RETRO-LINX' branded AM/VSB AM/VSB Amplitude Modulation/Vestigial Side-Band  Transmitters and Receivers to deliver unparalleled performance for a moderate price. Blonder Tongue's Fiber Optics product line is broad enough to fully satisfy the transmission needs of all the popular TV signaling schemes: analog, digital QAM, and digital QPSK (Quadrature Phase Shift Keying) A phase modulation technique that transmits two bits in four modulation states. The FILR Series are L-band Fiber Optic Receivers and the FILT FILT Federazione Italiana Lavoratori Trasporti (Italian: Italian Transport Workers' Federation; Italy)  Series are L-band Fiber Optic Transmitters. These products are designed for use in the 950 to 2050 MHz frequency range with single, eight, and sixteen link optical outputs available.

The FOMC Series of Fiber Optic Management Chassis hardware includes two different product solutions to meet operator requirements. The two products are configured to support 36 and 72 optical ports respectively. This support includes optical coupling, bulkhead connectors/terminators, as well as transmitter and receiver interfaces.  style coupler modules, bulkhead connector panels and termination panels. Common 4 and 6 connector panels are available in FC, SC and ST connector types with other combinations available by special order.

The new TRAILBLAZER and RETRO-LINX fiber optic products are designed for use with AM/VSB signals. The product groups offer superior distortion performance over the entire band making for better overall picture quality at a moderate price. The TRAILBLAZER product family features the transmission link applications originating from the headend. The RETRO-LINX product family is focused on return path and surveillance applications.
