), announces the wide availability of the DFSM-10 Digital Field Strength Meter, enhancing Blonder Tongue's extensive line of Test Equipment.

The DFSM-10 is a lightweight, battery operated digital field strength meter. It is ideal for making digital or analog signal test measurements of all standard broadcast (VHF (Very High Frequency) The range of electromagnetic frequencies from 30 MHz to 300 MHz.  and UHF (Ultra High Frequency) The range of electromagnetic frequencies from 300 MHz to 3 GHz. In the U.S., analog television has used UHF channels 52 to 69 in the 700 MHz band. ), CATV (Community Antenna TV) The original name for cable TV. It used a single antenna at the highest location in the community in order to deliver a quality signal to homes in areas with hilly terrain or other interference.  channel assignments as well as FM broadcast frequencies. It provides real-time dynamic measurements with continuous updates for channels and frequencies within the 44 to 870 MHz range.

The DFSM-10 can effectively measure Video Carrier Level, Audio Carrier Level, Video/Audio Carrier Delta and Carrier to Noise and Signal Leakage with a Blonder Tongue calibrated antenna. All measurements are displayed on an easy to read LCD display panel.
