Blonder Tongue Laboratories, Inc. (AMEX:BDR), a manufacturer of electronics and systems equipment for the franchised and private cable television industries, announced today the appointment of Emily Nikoo as Vice President -- Marketing & Technical Services. She will be responsible for spearheading the Blonder Tongue Triple Play offering that serves the MDU cable community with voice, video, and data products.

Ms. Nikoo brings to the position seventeen years of engineering and marketing expertise; nine of which have been with Blonder Tongue. She joined the Company as a product manager and has been promoted steadily to several supervisory and management positions. Ms. Nikoo was previously with Lockheed Martin in its Space Systems Company. She holds a B.S.E.E. from Purdue University and M.E.E. from the University of Houston.
