BlogHer Announces BlogHers Act, One-Year Global Activism Initiative to Harness the Leadership of the Influential Women Who Blog.


The BlogHer Community Will Propose, Vote On and Blog a Global Issue to Focus On During a Year-Long Campaign of Organized Blogging Writing Weblogs. See blog.  Activism.

Prior to becoming head coach at Wisconsin, she was the head coach at Drake University. In her coaching career, she has compiled an impressive 397-151 record. .

This year at BlogHer '07 in Chicago on July 27-29, 2007, BlogHer will unveil the BlogHers Act issue the community has rallied behind and launch the community's aggressive plan for the next twelve months of results-oriented action, culminating in a case study of online community activism at BlogHer '08. BlogHer's co-founders have asked Emily McKhann and Cooper Munroe from The Motherhood.com (http://themotherhood.com) and the Been There Clearinghouse clearinghouse
