The most universal forms of jewelry are the necklace, bracelet, ring, pin, and earring.
 (12%), chocolate (11%), flowers (11%) and wine/champagne (.5%).

* Worst Gift: 32% of respondents reported that getting cleaning supplies is a much worse gift than a "Dear John Letter" (18%). 26% thought sex was the worst gift.

* Sex vs. no Sex: 54% are more likely to "get lucky" on Valentine's Day. Surprisingly, 24% are not as willing.

* Gift Giving: 64% of respondents expect to receive something on Valentine's Day. Of those, most expect to receive sex (57%), wine (16%), or chocolate (13%).

* Save vs. Splurge: About half of couples (52%) plan to save money and spend less money than they did in 2006. Of couples who are spending money, 24% of them are likely to spend between $50 and $300. 11% expect to blow over $500.

* Men vs. Women: 57% of readers identified men to spend more money on Valentine's Day.

* Restaurant vs. Home: 49% of readers prefer dining out Dining Out is one of the many traditions held by the military today. The history dates back to when Roman soldiers would hold dinners in honor of an individual. Later, British naval officers held a "guest night" to relax with other military personal and honored guests.  at a restaurant versus 39% who prefer a home-cooked meal. 12% are unsure where they'd prefer to eat.
