Blockbuster Uses SafeDisc to Give Gamers the Green Light for PC Renting.


SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Aug. 10, 1999--

Macrovision UK Limited (a subsidiary of Macrovision Corporation (Nasdaq:MVSN MVSN Milizia Volontaria per la Sicurezza Nazionale (Italy) )), has signed an agreement with Blockbuster block·bust·er

 Entertainment Limited under which Blockbuster will trial a PC games rental project by using SafeDisc(TM) copy protection, a technology developed by C-Dilla -- A Macrovision Company.

From the end of July, Blockbuster will be using SafeDisc on all their PC games(1) during a twelve-week trial period.
