"I KNOW it's a Sunday night Sunday Night, later named Michelob Presents Night Music, was an NBC late-night television show which aired for two seasons between 1988 and 1990 as a showcase for jazz and eclectic musical artists. , but are you excited, Inverness?" asks frontman front·man

 Kele Okereke.

The response is deafening. Inverness is as excited to see Bloc Party as the band are to be "the furthest north in the UK we've ever been".

The band move from current album Intimacy through their hits - The Prayer (harder, harsher than ever), Two More Years and One More Chance.

And with each one, more and more of the capacity crowd start jumping. It's like watching waves roll up a beach.

"This one's for dancing to," says Okereke, back on stage after crowdsurfing, and it's Flux. The whole joint is jumping and it keeps on for Helicopter. We have lift-off. Sunday nights in Inverness will never be the same.
