Bliss Opens Its First West Coast Spa At The W San Francisco; Bliss Continues to Grow with Spas Set to Debut at W Hotels in Chicago, Los Angeles and Dallas.

:HOT) continues its expansion of Bliss Spas with the debut of its first West Coast Spa, Bliss San Francisco San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden  at the W San Francisco Hotel.

Starwood acquired cosmetic, spa and catalog company Bliss from luxury goods conglomerate LVMH LVMH Moët Hennessy-Louis Vuitton (upscale retailer)  in January 2004. The hotel giant announced its intention to grow the innovative spa brand, a favorite of celebrities, fashion and beauty executives, in its existing and new W Hotels. With the addition of Bliss San Francisco, there are currently five Bliss Spas worldwide including BlissSoho, Bliss57, BlissLondon in the United Kingdom and Bliss49 at the W New York New York, state, United States

Located at the W San Francisco, the new 5,000 square foot Bliss Spa features a retail beauty boutique and a high tech manicure pedicure lounge with three manicure pedicure stations. Each nail station is equipped with its own flat screen TV, DVD player A stand-alone device that plays DVDs. It contains a DVD drive and the electronics to decode the digital video. The device may play only manufactured DVDs, or it may be able to play DVD-R, DVD-RW and DVD+RW discs. Bliss kicked off its San Francisco debut by offering San Francisco Mayor Newsom the key to Bliss and asking him to help give away a week's worth of complimentary services. Mayor Newsom accepted and helped Bliss connect with its new community by inviting over 200 San Francisco public school teachers to experience free facials, massages, manicures and pedicures.
